20-27 November, 2021
OFF-SITE AT METRO ARTS
ROOM SHEET with essay by TIM BAKER

Celebrating Coral Sea camaraderie and contemporary surfrider culture, this group exhibition by Artist Boardriders Club (A.B.C.) is centred around inclusiveness, collaboration and ‘the stoke’.

Formed in the line-up at Snapper Rocks on Queensland’s Gold Coast in 2018, A.B.C. is a recreational and relational project associated with THE WALLS ART SPACE. The clubs collective surfing and art making activities include curating exhibitions such as SURF SALON (2018/19) and hosting monthly social surf meet-ups. DOT MATRIX OF HUMANITY will be their first collaborative exhibition.

Active club members include club captain JOHN ANTHONY FORNO,  EMILY ROSE HASTIE, ANDREW CULLEN, DION PARKER, REBECCA ROSS, THEA SKELSEY, EZ LARMOR, BYRON COATHUP, TESSA BERGAN, SHANENE DITTON and CLAUDIO KIRAC.

ARTIST BOARDRIDERS CLUB is sponsored by VISSLA.
