GOLD COAST CITY FUTURES questions and communicates how we can navigate just transitions in a green new world, a world where global issues have resolution.

The feature artwork FUTURES MAP has been formed out of collaboration between textile and sculpture artist MELISSA SPRATT, and the Relative Creative team during a four month Artist In Residence. The work also incorporates projection mapping in collaboration with SALVADOR CANTELLANO. The exhibition aims to tell the narrative of the project and to influence how we interact with what is next. The use of bright colour and tactile texture entices the audience to step closer and view this work from more than one perspective, much like the resolutions these issues require.
