It was Jack Kerouac meets Antiques Roadshow in a Suzuki Jimny and a Nissan El Grand. Chris Bennie and Rebecca Ross hit the road to visit artists, in their studios, in their homes, and in response to the Covid-19 lockdown. After a tough couple of months for the arts they packed their chariots full with care packages, conversation, critiques and cups of tea and visited artists on call. It was a call of care and an opportunity for THE WALLS to support our community of artists and artsworkers in some small way. They travelled around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales across three weekends in June and visited artists, studios, homes, a cemetery and a fermentary!
